Two and a half years ago, I was a dead man walking. I was a 270 pound 41 year old man getting ready to have twin boys. I knew that if I didn’t do something, and do it soon, I’d never see their 18th birthday. I started to work out at the gym but like always I fell into that dull routine of the same workouts every day.
Then one day, the co-owner of CrossFit challenged me to one of her workouts. To put it bluntly, she kicked my butt and embarrassed me completely. So I asked her what she has been doing and that’s when I learned about CrossFit.
CrossFit is not just a workout; it’s a way of life for me. It has created competitive juices inside of me that I have not had in 25 years. I never thought that I could become so addicted to something in my life, especially something that is good for me.
CrossFit not only has changed my life, it has saved my life.
