I grew up playing few sports besides football but found my athletic side once I joined the Marine Corps after graduating high school. I spent eight years serving on active duty. During that time I was an avid runner competing in different marathons from time to time.
Prior to my days of CrossFit I spent a couple of years lifting weights and doing the chronic cardio thing. I saw results but became bored of the same old routine. CrossFit has given me back the active lifestyle that I once had. I started CrossFit in March of 2011. At that time I was a few months away from going into the Michigan State Police Academy and was looking for a program that would to help me prepare for the physical demands that I would be encountering. Plans changed career wise but my love and addiction for CrossFit did not. I was hooked!
My goal as a CrossFit coach is to assist any athlete from beginner to advanced by helping them perform any CrossFit movement safely, effectively and efficiently to improve times, weights and the personal goals of that athlete. Helping people get better is what we do and as I get better I love seeing those around me being lifted up too!
