What do you like most about CrossFit?
I love the challenge. I love to push myself and try and to accomplish my goals. I love the people the most though. They are family and they have inspired me to grow not only as an individual but as an athlete too.
What is your favorite/least favorite movement?
I think Burpees are my most hated movement.
Do you have an interesting story about how CrossFit has impacted your life?
Over the last 2 years I have pushed myself to get back into shape and through CrossFit I have been to accomplish this. It has sparked something in me that makes me believe in myself and I know that I may not master that movement today, but there is always tomorrow. I recently had my second child and continued to workout throughout my pregnancy and it was challenging at times but so many CrossFit women continue to workout and they inspired me to continue working out too. Today my son is a little over 2 weeks old and he is super healthy and a tank. My recovery time physically and mentally has been amazing and I know it’s because of my continued work in the Box. Through CrossFit I learned that your mind will quit before your body will every time. I want my kids to know that they can accomplish anything through hard work, and never quitting. This is the essence of CrossFit.
